UNIQUE RJ45 MODULAR JACK ENABLES RANGE OF INSTALLATION CHOICES

Tinton Falls, NJ � BTR, a division of RIA Connect, Inc. announces the launch of a new field termination system for RJ45 modular jacks and plugs. Core to the product line is the Cat. 6 (250MHz) or better E-DAT modular jack whose features enable a wide range of installation choices while meeting all the requirements for a certified link. Especially well suited for Industrial Ethernet/IP applications (Gigabit-Ethernet) is the mounting system for IP67 Surface, Bulkhead, Panel or IP20 DIN rail mounting, (shown here). The RJ45 modular plug/jack meets TIA/EIA 568B/A specifications, features secure and reusable field insulation displacement connection (IDC), and integrated 360 degree shield connectivity spring in a self-contained Nickel plated, solid diecast Zinc housing. The 8-pole termination (AWG 22-24) system is color-coded and can be located any place for ruggedized connectivity.
