ASM01Y - THR compatible and can withstand soldering temperatures of 290 degrees C for 90 seconds
RIA CONNECT, Inc. is proud to introduce a revolution in the world of PCB connections. The ASM01Y spring contact is a single pole, vibration resistant, SMD which allows for a solderless termination.
The construction allows the connection of pinned components and individual solid wires ranging in size from 18-16 AWG, or stranded wires with ferrules. The device is perfect for SMT applications and is available in tape and reel.The ASM01Y is THR compatible and can withstand soldering temperatures of 290 degrees C for 90 seconds. Furthermore, the component can be soldered either on the component or the soldering side. Covering only 3.5 square mm, the ASM01Y is a compact, fast, and economical connector solution.
Pick & Place Tip:The ASM01Y can be picked with a gripper. However, if you choose to employ a vacuum wand, we recommend the use of Siemens' revolver-nozzle P/N 03056661. This nozzle, in conjunction with Siemens' adapter-nozzle P/N 00330027, has shown to produce the best results.
